Camping & Yaking at Lake Powell

I had been eyeing Lake Powell, especially the primitive beach, Lone Rock, in Utah for a month or two. My adventure seeking heart wanted to kayak through the canyons, see the mind blowing sun rises and sunsets, live barefoot in the dirt and sand, and stuff my face with yummy s'mores over a crackling fire with only the stars to keep my attention. Luckily I have an AWESOME husband who was totally enamored with this too, and so we finally made it a reality. There are no words to completely describe it's beauty. I can only say, if you get the chance, bring your tent and some kayaks and experience it for yourself.

All you need.

Bliss.

Sleepy mornings.

Our view.

Waking up is hard.

Kayaking through the gorgeous canyons.

Sunset, s'mores, and stars.

Happy adventures.

    1. Wow thank you so much! That also sounds wonderful, I will have to look into Kings Canyon for a future adventure! Aren't places like this so captivating? It makes me wonder why I don't live out of a tent more often. Thank you again :)
